Shakespeare’s country is what many refer to Warwickshire as. It’s a great scenic place in central England that’s perfect for beautiful weddings. Not only is Warwickshire convenient for family members all across the country to get to but it also provides acres of countryside to marvel at both during the journey and whilst staying there.

So what does Warwickshire have to offer when it comes to wedding venues? We looked at 3 hugely popular venues in the area and gave our own take on them.

Warwick House

Located in Southam, just outside of Warwick and not too far from Leamington Spa lies the historic Warwick House. Perfect for couples who would like a historic and classy wedding venue. The venue has been restored over years and preserved exactly as it has been for over 200 years.

Not only does this venue offer exclusive celebrations and civil ceremonies but it also offers stunning views from the terraces and a mansion for the reception.

Warwick room can accommodate for anything up to 60 guests and provide simple but elegant decoration with classy chandelier lighting and high ceilings.


Located close to Kenilworth (which brags a castle of it’s own) is a charming Edwardian mansion called Woodside. This has flexibility for couples being able to use the indoor or outdoor licensed settings for the wedding or reception. Woodside contains 32 acres of gorgeous English landscape which can provide great wedding photos that all will remember for many years to come.

The rooms can cater for up to 180 guests for dining and has 74 ensuite bedrooms which includes a luxurious bridal suite. Guests can enjoy the grounds as well as extensive leisure facilities that compromise of a swimming pool, tennis courts and croquet lawn. There’s even a 9 hole mini gold course to keep everyone occupied!

Mallory Court Country House

Leamington Spa is a beautiful town located in Warwickshire, and that’s where our next wedding venue is based. The Mallory Court Country House Hotel was originally build during the first world war in 1916 and offers affordable and sophisticated settings for smaller wedding ceremonies. The Knights Suite can cater up to 150 guests for the wedding breakfast with an award winning catering team at your command.
